I think governments and people are becoming aware of global warming and that we will transition to a better use of energy and renewable resources… So hopefully the world will just continue to go on and we will be able to actually reduce CO2 levels and other contaminants in the atmosphere.
If there were not sufficient measures implemented, we would likely continue to see these extreme weather behaviors, where we get to see hot places becoming hotter and with less rain, or tropical places with extreme storms, and so on… It is not like we literally will have a 40-degree celsius summer in Ireland. It’s not the way it works. But maybe Ireland will start to see more frequently storms of a high warning level.

As Kalra said hopefully we will be able to reduce our emissions on time to reduce the warming of the planet; however, if this doesn’t happen we will see continued melting of the ice caps, rise in sea level, extinction of a lot of species of plants and animals, droughts in warm regions of the world and flooding in other places.
